BAY AREA WOMEN'S CYCLING CLINIC
Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th, 2002

Learn what you need to start road racing or improve your racing strategy. For beginner and intermediate racers.

Taught by women for women. Instructors – Karen Bliss Livingston (former captain of the Saturn Team) and Kendra Wenzel (former captain of the Saeco/Timex Team) – are former professional cyclists from the U.S. National Team and are outstanding teachers.


Schedule
Day 1:
> Improve your confidence and cycling technique with classroom demos & outdoor drills (cornering, bike handling, pacelines, etc.)
> Learn about bicycle fit and maintenance

Day 2:
> Develop/improve your training plan (building flexibility, power, strength, speed, endurance)
> Develop/improve your racing strategy (learn about sizing up a race, positioning in a race, team tactics)
> Improve your sprinting and climbing through outdoor drills

Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30, 2002 (attend either day or both)

Time
9:00 am – 5:00 pm (registration and refreshments starting at 8 am)

Location

Cost
$60/day or $109 for the weekend (please inquire about Junior discount)

Group Rates
> 5 to 9 people -- $55/day per person or $99/weekend per person
> 10 or more people -- $50/day per person or $89/weekend per person
(Must register together for discount)
