| Race Location: Pine Flat Resevoir, Fresno County, CA |
| Course Description: 62 mile near-loop with a start out & back section in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Mountainous,
some 2800 feet vertical (2 main climbs both near the end, last is finish hill). Same as in 1994-7. Road surface ranges from good to fair, some narrow, some traffic;
many cattleguards; one twisty very narrow fast descent. 8 miles may be added for everyone on the out-and-back leg. [Trimmer Springs o/a/b; Belmont, Riverbend,
Ashlan, Watts Valley, Maxon Valley to finish at summit]

Registration: Opens at 6:00 a.m. at Island Park Marina, and closes at 8:00 for all (note some races start before 8).

| Directions: From Hwy 99 in Fresno, take Hwy 180 east 18 1/2 miles, turn left onto
Piedra Road, then 8 1/2 miles to a right onto Trimmer Springs Road, then 6 more miles to Island Park Marina on the right.

| How to Enter: By mail, send standard NCNCA entry form/release along with fee above (if Postmarked by Friday Feb 18)
to Velo Promo/Pine Flat, 19780 Soulsbyville Road, Soulsbyville, CA 95372. For those postmarked after, add $5. Numbers will be provided. 2000 NCNCA License
required. (Available at race, Proof of Upgrade must be presented for those riders riding above Cat 5 men and Cat 4 women). Entry fees include $1 NCNCA and
insurance surcharges. Entries for several races in one envelope ok, but be sure to list race names on the outside.

| Refunds: Credit towards another Velo Promo race will be issued if VP is informed by 5 pm Thursday Feb 24 that you can't compete at (209) 533-4996 [always leave name, category, race name and address in refund phone message]
No credit if you plan to enter another race instead; no cash refunds; no subsititions fro cancellations.

| Discounts: Current NorCal/Nevada District Criterium Champions ride for $2 if 1) their entry is postmarked by the deadline above (otherwise they pay full fee, including late) and 2) they ride in the category they won the championship in (Master champions may ride down in age and Juniors may ride up). District jersey not required.

| Rules: Follow vehicles only as permitted and organized through the Chief Referee.
|
| Additional Race Information: Rain or Shine. Held under NCNCA rules and permit. One day license available for unlicensed riders.
