Hi All,
As you know there will be World Deaf Cycling Championships in Bay Area this
summer from June 18 to 24. We'll have 11 nations and 40 athletes competing
for the top honors. One of the venues is Hellyer Park Velodrome.
In order to make this event a successful one, we have to raise funds. We're
hosting a Power Training Clinic in Fremont, CA on May 19 - 21, 2006 weekend.
The presenter is Hunter Allen, the co-author of the book "Training and Racing
with a Power Meter" and one of the world's expects on training with power.
You will begin the weekend with Power Meter Basics on Friday night, Group
Ride on Saturday morning and Power Meter download and Analysis on Saturday
afternoon. We'll wrap it up with Advanced Power Meter Concepts on Sunday
morning.
There are a total of 10 Ergomo power meter units available to participants
on loan basis for the weekend.
The website is http://www.usdeafsports.org/2006cycling/PowerTraining/ [1] and to
register for the clinic, it is:
