The annual elections for the 2014 NCNCA Board of Directors are coming up soon. Below is the schedule of elections:
The NCNCA Secretary will accept written nominations for Board Members from Wednesday, September 18, at 9 a.m., through Wednesday, September 25, at 5 p.m., 2013.
Each nominee may submit a written statement to the NCNCA Webmaster email@example.com  and the statement will be posted at www.ncnca.org . Candidate statements will be accepted by the webmaster beginning September 21, at 9 a.m. and ending at September 27 at 9 p.m. Statements will be posted at ncnca.org as they are received.
Online voting will begin on Monday, October 7, at 9 a.m. The end of the voting period will be Sunday October 13, at 9 p.m.
Each NCNCA Member (club or organization) may cast one vote each for a maximum of nine candidates (up to nine votes total).
Announcement of the election results will take place on Tuesday, October 15. The ratification of the votes, and the new Board will be greeted at the BOD meeting in Livermore, at 7 p.m. on October 21.
Again, 2013 NCNCA BOD elections start Monday, October 7, end on Sunday, October 13, and the vote count will be announced on Tuesday, October 15. The nine people with the most votes will become the new Board. If there are less than ten candidates, every candidate who receives at least one vote will become a Board Member. The new Board will then commence the election of officers, and begin carrying out their business.
Nominations must be made in writing (email: firstname.lastname@example.org ) by the designated representative of any NCNCA Member (club or other organization) only. Members can nominate more than one person for the NCNCA Board. The current list of NCNCA Members is posted at:
