Hello from your friends at SBO. As the 2011 cycling season ramps up in Northern California, we want to bring you up to speed on changes you can expect. We have always taken the approach of not being just an online registration service but also an event portal. Since the new release of our website, we have continued to work on increasing the versatility, speed, and flexibility of our site for both event directors and athletes.
For event directors, we have completed a suite of event management tools that allow you to manage your events more easily. These include the ability to contact athletes with any updates or changes regarding your events, allow cancellations and provide refunds back to their credit cards, move athletes from one category to another, automated wait list management, and replacing one athlete for another. 24/7 365 customer support by phone or email, not just during regular business hours, we are here to help you. This year we are adding a “build your own event” tool for event directors who want a more hands on experience. We anticipate the release of this tool early in the second quarter. Finally, our RaceDay software program is being updated. The new release will allow the management of omniums and stage races.
For athletes, you will see a new registration flow process in three easy steps – add, choose, checkout. This update will take you from log-in to checkout in less time as we continue to work on the speed of our site for a quicker, cleaner registration experience. We added a new tool to allow the registered athlete list to be downloaded to Excel so you can sort the data any way you would like. 24/7 365 customer supprt by phone or email, not just during regular business hours, we are here to help you.
