Warming up on the course: Warm up before racing begins, on a trainer or on the road. If you wish to ride the course you must wait until the first rider of a particular race finishes and not pass other riders racing. Do not interfere with other races and exit the course immediately if another race is approaching behind you. Check with officials before entering the course.
Helmets must be worn at all times when you are on your bicycle. Cyclocross bikes recommended but mountain bikes work great! You must remove your bar ends. Bike and wheel exchanges may be made in the one and only pit area which will be marked. Bike wash will be available if needed. If lapped, all riders will finish behind the leader on his or her lap. Numbers are to be placed on the left side, left rib area and well pinned. Numbers should show well and be flat when in the “on the bike†position.
