Even though the weather is still gorgeous up here in NorCal start making your escape plan for this winter! I'm running a training camp down in the sunny Anza Borrego Desert of southern CA Feb 13-21, 2010. Sign up soon for discounted rate. See my website (http://www.swancoaching.com/winterspringcamps.htm ) or contact me for full details.
Borrego Springs provides the ideal setting for escaping the frigid February weather of most regions and focusing on quality training. There are quiet, flat roads perfect for working on sprint technique, pacelining, echelon riding, and other cycling and racing skills. Also, nearby are a variety of spectacular climbs including the hors categorie Palomar Mountain featured in the 2009 Tour of California.
In addition to the superb riding you will benefit from a high level of coaching throughout the camp. The number of participants is kept low to allow plenty of individual coaching time. Coach Kevin Swanson will observe and interact on the rides giving tips for improvement while leading you on memorable routes. You will also have the opportunity to meet individually for help with your season plan or to address any specific training questions or specific injury issues. With his expertise in conditioning and rehab he can help with specific exercise recommendations for you.
