One of my fave bikes I've ridden ever. The Lapierre 971. Full Scandium frame, hand-made in France. Very sloping frame, which means very good range of fitting -- for someone 5"2 to 5'9", depending on your proportions and riding style. Light (<16lb w/o pedals, with these wheels, I think), quick, stable, stiff but not punishing. It fit me pretty perfectly -- I can email the geometry to you if you're curious.
Includes:
Mavic Ksyrium SL SSC clinchers, Dura-Ace (brifters, rear der., chain), Ultegra (front der., brakes), Ritchey WCS series components (carbon fork, seatpost, handlebar, alloy stem), carbon 39/53 crankset (with Ergomo bottom bracket; if you can buy the head unit=steal on a power meter), Specialized Toupe saddle.
The parts alone -- wheels, components -- are worth more than $2000. Willing to part with whole thing (professionally maintained, but some wear /n/ tear) for less.
