I can understand how a Cat 1, 2 or even a 3 can obtain a large number of points in a given year based on their consistent top placings. I would like to understand how a Cat 4 can accumulate over 75 BAR points? The placings required to acheive 75 BAR points would certainly be enough to push/force them into the next category. I understood BAR/BAT points would stop accumulating once a rider had enough upgrade points.
What is the real scoop?
