So I ruined the crank on my old (mid-90s) mountain bike, which means that not only do I have to replace the crank but also the chain (should do that every decade anyway), cassette... and rear wheel. Turns out I had a 7-speed wheel but was running 8-speed shifters. Don't ask me how. I've got all the components but am looking for an 8-speed rear mountain bike wheel. It could be used but should be in decent (round, true, doesn't need a whole overhaul) wheel.
Anyone have one sitting around after an upgrade to 9 speeds?
