NCNCA Premier Series Results
For the 2011 Road Racing season NCNCA President Bill Nicely and the NCNCA Board of Directors have moved forward with creating an improved Premier Series. The focus of the Premier Series is to create a high caliber points chase using a select number of the most prestigious and traditional races of the region, featuring all disciplines of Road Cycling. With the goal being the winners of the Premier Series are the best all-around riders who are capable of scoring points in all types of Road Cycling events. To spice the chase for the Premier Series overall titles the NCNCA will be awarding $3000 in cold hard cash split among the top finishers in all divisions, with the majority of this payout going to the Women Category 1/2/3 & Men Category 1/2/ divisions, on a equal payout scale for Women & Men! The 2011 NCNCA Premier Series is now a group of 20 races that represent some of the best races in the Northern California/Nevada racing district. The Premier Series includes eight criteriums, ten road races, one time trial, and one hill-climb. Overall winners will be determined by totaling the top fifteen results from each individual in the following categories: Elite Pro/1/2 Men, Elite Pro/1/2/3 Women, Masters 35+ 123 Men and Masters 45+ 123 Men. Full results are now displayed on this NCNCA website under the RIDER category on the top of the page, simply look for Premier Series on the drop down bar for current rules and results!
