Early Bird Season is just around the corner and I am very excited to
share with you the "new advance skills clinic for women cat3/4"
(ten plus races) that will be held one block north of the Early Birds
on Commerce Dr between Paseo Parkway/Ardenwood in Fremont. It will
be held each Early Bird Sunday promptly 11:45 for one hour
(after the EB wcat4 race and before the EB wcat123 race). Registration
will be held at Commerce Dr/Paseo Parkway at 11:00, bring your license
and $10.00. The series will begin with advance skills (lesson #1) and then
move on to tactics and team development. We have a dedicated,
experienced, and veteran mentor group. Come, join and experience

Sunday February 4
11:45-12:45 (after the EB wcat 4 race and before the EB wcat 123 race)

Our final lesson will cover the final laps, advancing, and organizing the lead out train. Small composite teams (with plans) will form to practice. The second part of our lesson we will focus on "Communication and Organization" after the break away is formed and or the chase group. The lesson here is to be "assertive, communicate and organize."
And finally one more chance to improve your sprint form.

Sunday, January, 28th

This week we will focus on attacking, counter attacking, blocking, bridging and chasing. There will be a preview about the reasoning behind these tactics and the philosophy of "team planning prior racing"
and "communicating while racing." We will warm up and practice tight rotating pacelines and then work into our drills. There will be a debriefing after. Our coaches/mentors are eager to share and answer questions while assisting drills.

Registration opens at 11:00 at Paseo Parkway/Commerce. Bring your license and $10.00. Female Juniors Welcomed

Lesson #3 January 21, 2007 (Sunday)
Our Third lesson is all about explosive power. We will discuss and practice the team/race dynamics of "attacking," "bridging" and "counter attacking." Or how about winning the prime! We will warm up by forming tight rotating pacelines and end the session with a review on sprinting/form with debriefing. Please bring your explosive energy and join us to learn the balance of exciting and safe racing. Our dedicated, experienced, mentors will share their experience and knowledge with you. The session starts after the Early Bird wcat 4 race and before the Early Bird wcat123 race begins. Bring your license and $10.00 to the registration table located at Paseo Parkway/Commerce (opens at 11:00). Junior females are welcome to join.

Lesson #2 January 14, 2007 (Sunday)
Our second lesson will cover sprinting and team lead out. We will review, counter steering and rotating pacelines and debrief at the end. Come join us to strengthen or to learn racing advance skills/team tactics with your team and with other women/teams. We have a seasoned and dedicated group of mentors who will share their knowledge with you. Bring your license and $10.00 to the registration table located at Paseo Parkway/Commerce (opens at 11:00). Junior females are welcome to join.
