Why can't registration open online at the stated time?
The velopromo website indicates that registration for Dunnigan Hills will open on June 1. The ncnca calendar page says that registration will open at midnight, PDT, on June 1. The sportsbaseonline page for Dunnigan Hills says that registration opens at 3:00 a.m. EST (why it says standard time when we are clearly into daylight saving time is another mystery).
I checked Dunnigan Hills 15 minutes ago, at 11:08 P.M. on May 31. Two fields are already sold out. The "Registered Athletes" page shows that most of these fields had riders who registered days ago.
Can't we please get this problem fixed? If not, let's stop publishing information on the calendar page about when registration opens. Doing so creates more confusion than just leaving the opening date a mystery.

Bill, I wasn't blaming you. I've just found sportsbaseonline's performance a bit frustrating this year. We use them for our races, and overall I like the service, but they need to improve in several areas, this being one of them. They should have code that tells them they have set the date for 800 years ago and asks them if they are sure they want to proceed.
Dunnigan Hills was supposed to open registration on June 1 as you mentioned. SBO sent us the registration date and info and we posted this as a convenience. When SBO created their page they made the clerical mistake of posting the registration open date as June 1 and the year of 0209. This effectively made registration open immediately.
This can be seen still at:

I have a call into Dirk to point that out but it is obviously too late as we are past the date it should have opened. I am certain Dirk will be horrified, then laugh at the mistake and then wish to apologize. A second 35+ 4 field has been added. I hope that you are able to race in a field of your choice.
