The new year is upon us and with racing just around the corner, "the dream is alive." What events are your dreams about and why? Ok, I'm bored and am looking for entertainment.

I tried posting this with my 2c a little while back but it didn't post. I'll add mine again when the frustration subsides but will get this out there in the interim.

Road Trips and a new stage race

Well I can say im stoked about the stage race that our team, Chico Corsa PB Sierra Nevada Brewery, is putting on. I wont spoil the stages yet because Jeff and the rest of the board is working hard on getting permits but it will not be a race decided by a TT. Im also looking forward to all the road trips we will be going on. Gila, Mt Hood, Elkhorn, Valley of the Sun. Nothing like spending a week on the road racing.

The new stage, road, and time trial races. Pretty fired up about these and want to make sure the promoters get good support.

OK, I'm 0 for 2 on attempts to post my list here as the one I just submitted didn't go through. Frustration is an understatement. Thanks for sharing Chris. I'll try and post mine again soon.

San Bruno Hill Climb - some say January 1 is too early for an all out effort, but this is one of the closest races to my home, & I love hill climbs. The turnout isn't huge, but it's always great to see many faces I haven't seen in months & lots of new ones too.

Chery Pie Criterium - First race of the year for many & first time to try out team tactics in large fields. Yet another chance for us old guys to try and prevent LaBerge from extending his winning streak here to more years than I can count. We probably won't succeed, but it's always fun trying.

Snelling - First road race of the year with a big turnout in every field. This race is always fun & lively with lots of attacks & team strategies played out.

Of course, this is just the beginning....
