upcoming skills clinics

call me crazy, but didn't this forum used to have a category for coaching/clinics? alas....no more, so I'll post here.

Both clinics are taught on the SF peninsula and both are eligible for upgrade points.

September 22/23 -- Girls Got Skills -- this is a two-day clinic for women. we cover tons of individual bike handling skills, helping you become safe and confident on your bike, including starting, stopping, emergency stops, bumping, bunny hops, track stands, high-speed cornering and also climbing and descending. we also cover group riding skills and we've got bonus lectures on nutrition and heart rate based training. we even perform a heart-rate test so you can establish your own heart rate training zones.

October 14 -- Ultimate Cycling Skills Clinic (co-ed) -- this one-day clinic is for women and men, and was developed specifically for those riders who want to focus on skills and forget the fluff (did I just say that?). we cover all the same great skills as our two-day clinic -- we just cut out the lectures and heart-rate testing.

Both of these clinics will most likely sell out, so if you're interested in participating I would encourage you to register soon! Due to winter weather, we won't offer any more clinics until March 2008, however private skills instruction and coached workouts are available throughout the fall and winter months.
