The details of each stage are now available on the TOC web site at
http://www.amgentourofcalifornia.com/route.html

Looks like East Bay riders will know several of the roads used on stage 2 as the race will go through Lafayette, Moraga up South Pinehurst, out along Redwood Road to Castro Valley. NO climb up Hamilton but the race will go up sierra Grade in the major climb of the day.

I remember seeing an announcement by Discovery of their TOC roster, and the names I recall are George Hincapie, Tom Danielson, V. Ekimov, and I think Popovich. I don't recall the other 4.

Other racers I have heard are:
Levi Leipheimer of Gerolsteiner
Bobby Julich and Jens Voight of CSC (although Voight just crashed...)
Chris Horner
Gilberto Simoni
Freddy Rodriguez
Floyd Landis?
