Thin Mints and "De Ronde"

All right, let's cut to the chase - registration for the 2009 Palo Alto Bicycles "Ronde van Brisbeen" presented by Kaiser-Permanente/Team Oakland has FLUNG the doors wide open. Visit SBO and/or our website to gain the mystical knowledge necessary to enjoy the springtime on the Peninsula.

And what do "Thin Mints" and De Ronde have to do with it? Traditional podium prizes include not just small bags of Sacajawea dollar coins but the highly prized Girl Scout cookies that complete the Ronde "Green" theme - that's the color green, mates.

We'll shortly announce our special premium for the first riders to register for both days of the Omnium. For newcomers to the sport, an Omnium differs from a stage race - you are not required to finish each stage to qualify for the next start - you can pick and choose either event - OR both for the chance to win the overall Omnium titles.
