Thanksgiving Day Rides

I will be in San Jose for Turkey Day and was wondering if there are any traditional group rides that head out for a few hours. I will be in Almaden Valley so would prefer to stay fairly close....Los Gatos, Saratoga, Willow Glen..etc.

Ah....thanks for the insight! I was looking for a 3-4hr ride over varied terrain so sounds like I will venture out on my own. Thanks again for the replies and local knowledge.

The Los Gatos ride may be bigger than the Mt Hamilton ride since it's close in and relatively easier and people will be spread out in space all over the 20+ miles to the top of Mt Hamilton. Kennedy to the top of Sierra Azul is only about 12 miles round trip, one goes for the turkey and alcohol (if you are over 21)...

Mountain bike ride sounds pretty darn good. Where is the meeting spot for that adventure and what time? Riding Mt. Hamilton was something I was considering prior to posting however a few hundred people is a bit more than I think I would enjoy.

A few hundred people will summit Mt Hamilton, and there is also a MTB ride up Kennedy in Los Gatos.
