So I show up to the Lafayette Cat 3 Crit, and realize I don't have any of my Metromint bibs. Ouch. Frantically searching for any teammates with extra bibs or any for sale, I came up empty handed and was almost considering racing in my warm up pants (is that even legal?) As a last desperate attempt to get my race in for the day, I rode by a couple Reno Wheelmen warming up. After the shock of my question wore off, one of them was gracious enough to let me use his extra pair of shorts. Thanks a ton! I really appreciated it, even if I wasn't able to thank you afterwards. It's situations like that, that make me feel thankful to race in such a supportive and friendly district. Thanks again!
