SJBC Juniors the LIVESTRONG Challenge
Dear Fellow Cyclists,
The San Jose Bicycle Club Juniors have signed up to participate in the LIVESTRONG Challenge. You already know how passionate these kids are about cycling, now they will be riding 65 miles to support a worthy cause. Some are doing it in honor of family members who have been diagnosed with or have died from cancer.
More than 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone. Three out of four families in America will be faced with caring for a family member with cancer. The team’s goal is to raise $5,000. This money will help further the LAF’s mission to inspire and empower people affected by cancer. It will provide educational tools and resources and will help the LAF in its goal to make cancer a national priority.
We are asking for your support. If you can, please make a pledge to Daniel Farinha, Yuma Koishi, Gento Kusano, Andrew McIntire, Christopher Panella, or their mentors Joe Farinha and Steven Mielich.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and understanding how important this cause and event is to us. Together we can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
