Good news from Sattley today. We were up riding in the area and they are finally paving the district TT course.

The road has been slowly deteriorating for some time now. They are about half way done with the section from highway 49 to the county line.

I asked one of the workers how far they were going and he said to the Plumas county line, which I believe is about half way(10k.) The road after the county line is much better than before it, with limited stress cracks.

Good news and motivation for next year.

Has anyone ridden on the new road surface ?? Hard to tell but it looks as if the shoulder has not been repaved and we will have to ride on the left of the fog line to enjoy the new pavement - this is similar to Moriarty NM.
