The bike has about 2000 miles on it. It was purchased stock in 2006 and since, the rear derailleur was upgraded to XTR, so were the shiters/brake levers. The XTR levers are the type made by Shimano for a limited time a year or two ago where all the shifting and braking is done with one lever - like on a road bike STI shifters. The wheels are also upgraded to Mavic tubeless. The rear shock was overhauled in early 2011.
