FOR PROMOTERS -- Sports Base Online Training/Demo Day
Tue, 11/20/2007 - 8:42pm
Hey race promoters/registrars! As discussed at the NCNCA race scheduling meeting, we will be scheduling a demo/training day early in the season to help promoters fully utilize all the functions of Sports Base Online (registration and race day software). We've got a few dates in mind and would like to schedule this as early in the year as possible to assist promoters.
So, if you would be interested in a training like this (probably 2-4 hours total in the bay area), shoot me an email or post your response here. If you've got specific dates that would be great or not-so-great, let me know that as well. We'd like to choose a date that will accomodate those promoters most interested in utilizing SBO for registration next season.

thanks for making the renewal an online process. ~ SJBC
Just a reminder for clubs that might be on the fence about using Sportsbase or not. NCNCA has a sponsorship deal with Sportsbase. For every online entry for races in the NCNCA territory NCNCA gets a portion of each surcharge Sportsbase collects. For NCNCA member clubs who have paid their race surcharges and are in good standing the NCNCA rebates 80% of the fees we get from Sportsbase back to the promoting club. In most cases this comes to a couple hundred dollars.
We do the rebates from NCNCA at the end of the year so the rebate checks for member clubs who used Sportsbase this year are going out shortly. Clubs should be getting their rebates just in time for an end of year party of to kick start your race planing for next year.
