Other District Championships?

So, are there other district RR championship events in the works? Fort Ord is not on the calendar and Alta Alpina is not hosting the Masters RR & Crit championship weekend this year.

Chris,
Thanks for the info, that gets me off the hook for promoting a RR championship event this year. :D
Pretty sure people are going to hate on some events on that list. However, if championships are important enough to someone, they'll go regardless of where or when it is held.

Alta Alpina is hosting the Masters Road Race Championships at Diamond Valley.
Here is a current list of District Championship events:

May add Hill Climb: Mt. Tam Hill Climb or Fremont Peak?
*There were only 2 promoters who had races that were willing to serve as the District Road Race Championship (Pescadero and Challenge). Due to the conflict with the Tour de Nez/Nevada City weekend, and the fact that many racers have already made plans for June, it was decided that Pescadero would not be a good option for the 2010 District Championships, so that leaves Challenge as the only other option.
Several people have asked, "Why not Winters?"
The promoter does not believe the course can safely handle the increased number of participants a championship event would bring.
If you don't like these selections because they're too far away, too hilly, too hot, etc. then please promote your own race in 2011 and bid to be the District Championships.

Could be wrong, but I think the Alta Alpina RR at the end of July is still going to by the RR championship for Masters (but master's criterium championship has been changed to pleasanton in early may).
