New NCNCA Website
Athletes/Member Clubs/Officials/Promoters/Other Interested Parties,
Sometime in the next 24 to 36 hours when you go to http://www.ncnca.org the new NCNCA website will display. The exact time cannot be predicted as this is controlled by name servers on the internet.
This new site has been a year long project between the NCNCA BOD, our webmaster, Alec Berger, and an outside development company. The result is that we will be launching a Content Management System (CMS) in place of our old site. What does that mean? It means that changes to the site will no longer be funneled through one individual. We can have many content managers, including Promoters and Member Clubs updating their own information. Many new features and functions are planned to be added in the coming months.
The functionality of the old site has been preserved and there are many new enhancements. The new site is largely calendar centric and has centralized race information. San Bruno is a good example of what is available.
If you have trouble finding things, simply go to the main page and follow the link to the old site that we will maintain for a period of transition. There is also a User's Guide linked on the front page as well that we will continue to update and expand.
Please look around and enjoy the new site and don't be shy about suggestions during this transition and adjustment period.
