Need feed back from 2 Wheel Racing's Race
Tue, 06/09/2009 - 6:06pm
Hi I’m Bruce, one of the many that put on the 2 Wheel Racing’s Race last Sunday the 7th. We need your help. Did you race this crit? Let us know what you think. We need info to help secure this site for future races. Please only comment if you were there. We need to know how.
1. Was registration
2. How well was the course laid out for your safety?
3. Did or did you not like the motor pacing?
4. Did you have troubles finding the race site?

Allow racers to get to the infield. It was odd and inconvenient to park in a neighborhood and ride back and forth. Have course marshalls escort cars in and out during and between races. All else was positive. I will be back!
Thank you all for your input.
4/5 was an oversight. 4/5 will be separated next year for sure. We may have to split up others as well, because it will be bigger next year. More vendors, more spectators and most of all, more happy racers.
:D
I thank you very much for the day of racing, but after all of the discussion in this forum of racers voicing their opinions of being against the combining of 4/5 fields, I am wondering why you had these?

1. Was registration? Fine. Nicely done.
2. How well was the course laid out for your safety? Overall, pretty good. Would have been nice if gravel on stretch between turn 3 and 4 was swept up. MAybe a couple more volunteers around the course to assure no rogue vehicles wander onto course (not that there were any problems this time, just trying to think of suggestions). I agree with other poster that the tightness of the roads might make it a little dangerous with a big field in the lower categories.
3. Did or did you not like the motor pacing? Having more then one lead vehicle always helps safety when there's more then one group. Not sure of the purpose of follow bike pulling in so close to the back of the group at times though.
4. Did you have troubles finding the race site? Directions were great and easy to follow.
Thanks for putting on a nice race. All your efforts are appreciated.

1. Was registration - Smooth, but if more people show up you may need more volunteers
2. How well was the course laid out for your safety? It was really safe. But I think if the fields are larger it may not be as safe, as the roads are quite small.
3. Did or did you not like the motor pacing? Yes it was fine
4. Did you have troubles finding the race site? No not at all, the directions were good.
Thank you for hosting a great race
