We should have all the amenities, grandeur and schwag of last year's inceptive race, but without the sweltering heat.

Of particular note is the unusual 35+1/2 "reverse win & out" format, for which there are a limited number of entries and a restriction of 5 per team. Wacky.

The latter. Once you're placed you are no longer part of the race. Your race is over. You can't help a teammate. You can (safely) roll to the finish and watch the next sprints.

(I was just thinking how interesting it would be as a breakaway approached the line at 4 to go. Might they actually slow to force one of them across first??)

Obviously there can't be any finish-line celebrations while the reverse win&out race is still underway. Also, we do have a 90 degree turn a short block after the finish, so I'm trying to discourage celebrations in all fields.

But with a five-place podium awards celebration, there will be plenty of photo-opp's.

Interesting setup Jess.

In the reverse win & out can a rider who has already placed continue on and help a teammate or does "neutral" mean that person is supposed to drift to the back and pull out of the race once it's safe?
