Mt. Tam Hill Climb - registration is open

We just opened up registration for this year's Mt. Tam Hill Climb. Just a couple changes from past races...

We have a 450-rider limit on our event permit this year. Last year's event drew 501 racers, with a couple log-jams in the starting area, so we had to reduce some of the field sizes. We expect that the popular categories will fill during pre-reg, so it's especially important to pre-register early this year. Masters riders - especially 45+ - if you're shut out of your age group, keep in mind the category races or 35+ as alternatives.

On race day, please follow the marshal directions about where to park, we'll have a lot set aside for Tam racers. And we'd appreciate if you help keep the entrance lane open so other park visitors can get in, especially as races queue up. And of course no yellow-lining on Hwy 1 and Ridgecrest, as those roads are open to traffic. With a smooth 2008 we may be able to increase the fields again next year.

I'll watch this thread for questions about the event, and will post any updates about registration, sponsors and all that. Look forward to seeing you all in Stinson Beach on the 27th.
