As a member of the Board of the Berkeley Bike Club, I'm proposing that if we run a 5's field at the Albany Crit on 7/23, that there be mentors like the Early Birds for the Men's 5's and the Women's 4's. (I personally believe that since all 5's races are for training, they should be mentored and give newbies better skills than trial and error).

Is this a viable suggestion? Has it been tried in mid-season? Would it increase or decrease enrollment? Would you racers be up for mentoring on a race day? (see the poll)
