Masters Women race for $4 at the Salinas Valley Criterium

The promoter of the Salinas Valley Criterium has decided to allow all women who race in Masters categories to race for $4, the cost of USAC insurance and NCNCA surcharges! Bike reg fees do not apply, you will get reimbursed at race site. https://www.bikereg.com/Net/16498
Andrea Smith (Ladies First Racing) took the holeshot and then fended off Kari Studley (Redline) for her first national championship in rapidly deteriorating course conditions. Lap times slowed considerably as the mud began to tack up, and racers struggled to keep the bikes headed forwards. “It was tough,” Smith said after her victory. “The course has been changing all day, so it’s really different from when we rode it this morning.” PCI Compliance
