The Low-Key Hillclimbs start on Saturday!
If you're interested in riding, please do! Or if you want to help out, even better! We always need volunteers, especially week 1 where registration tends to take a bit longer than subsequent weeks.
If you're riding Levi's Grand Fondo instead: good luck! Honestly I wish I could join you. It will be a great event.
But if you're not up for 100+ miles of abuse in October, I hope to see you @ Montebello.
Dan

The series is underway, and we've had a wonderful turnout so far, really spanning the speed spectrum from competitive (even champion) racers down to 4-year-olds riding in the back of tandems, with spirited competition between racing teams (LGBRC, for example), touring clubs (Western Wheelers, for example), and fun series-only teams (Sisters and Misters of No Mercy, for example).
Four weeks down, but five left to go. Next week: Montevina, an underutilized climb off Hwy 17 (the backside of Bohlman).
Thanks, that worked. I live in the east bay, kind of know of most of the climbs over there, but not the start locations.

For those of us not familiar with the location
“Go to the parking lot on Steven's Canyon Road, at the reservoir, just north of Montebello road. Parking is available thereâ€
