If you're climbing the road beyond Rock Spring parking lot en route to the top of Tam beware of the loose gravel on some of the corners. There are signs up there but if you're not looking, as was the case with me, you can be caught off guard. You'll really notice it on some of those quick descents before you hit that last wall which leads to the parking lot.
