Help the NCNCA choose a new electronic timing system!
The NCNCA BOD would like to establish a working group to put together a proposal for a new electronic timing system to be used at NCNCA races. We've allocated budget to purchase a system but need folks who can dedicate some time to evaluate systems and make a recommendation to the BOD. The time commitment is short (during the off-season) and would be a total of about three months. We have done quite a bit of research this season, but are looking for folks who can help us make this system a reality.
Ideally, working group members are a racer, official, and/or race promoter who also has experience with technology, an open mind, and several hours a month to meet with the group during the fall. Most of the work will be done virtually (email, concalls, etc), but there will likely be one or two live meetings, including a presentation to the BOD. Experience with RFPs is a definite plus.
