Hellyer Velodrome Get Involved

A blog was set up not long ago by a group of people at the track. The goal of the blog is to really hear what people have a say about the track and make positive changes. Anyone can leave a comment or ask a question and it is sure to be answered. The web adress is http://hellyervelo.blogspot.com/ feel free to check it out and actively participate. It certainly sounds like whoever is writing this has an axe to grind, yet hides in anonymity.
Have you helped out at all at the track? Participated in one of the many cleanup/maintenance days? Have you even run for the board or attended a meeting?
I don't participate to the extent that others do (due to other volunteer commitments, but I have helped out in the past on numerous occasions), but I also don't whine or criticize the decisions that are made (at least I don't believe that I do). I try to throw in my opinions from time to time when certain topics come up. I adjust to the decisions that are made. Simple as that.
Rather than whine, get involved in a constructive manner.
