Last night at the Association meeting we announced several committees that are being formed. This is a call for volunteers to form the Grants Committee.

I will be the Board member serving on the committee, we are looking for 3 or 4 volunteers to serve on the committee.

The Grants Committee will be responsible for the following:
1. Defining a clear scope and guidelines of several grants and making sure that the purpose is in line with the Mission of the NCNCA.
2. Developing a clear set of submission guidelines.
3. Presenting the grant programs to the NCNCA Board for approval.
4. Advertising the approved grant programs, receiving and processing the submissions, and recommending the submissions that meet the guidelines to the NCNCA Board.

The goal is to create grant programs that will stand for several years and be easy to administer in the future.

Anyone can participate, but I would ask that each committee member if they would be willing to recuse themselves and/or their club from applying for any of the grants the committee develops.
