This is just a general announcement that the Bay Bridge will be closed from September 3rd, through September 8th.

This will have a direct impact on those travelling from the East Bay. Therefore we thought it was important not to leave anyone in the dark. You can check your local listings or 511.org for additional routes and public transportation alternatives that will help you get to the race safe and on time.

Please make note of this while scheduling your travel and commute arrangements for this race, and maybe just as importantly, tell a friend!

Thanks
Paul

Using earplugs is also advised when riding through the tube and slippers to ease navigating the stairs. There usually is a spot near the S/F line to drop off "stuff" while racing.

The Embarcadero Bart station is approximately 1 mile south of the race.

It appears that the earliest arriving train would be 6:51am with trains arriving every 20 minutes. Although I encourage anyone taking Bart to please check Bart schedules for arrival times (in conjunction with race start times) as they differ depending on the departing location.
