The Fremont Peak Hill Climb this Sunday had been listed in the 2009 NCNCA BAR Eligible events, and now all of a sudden it says ineligible?

Did they not get a USAC permit, or is there another reason?

Thanks,

Chris

Fremont Peak Hill Climb ineligible for BAR/BAT?

There is another reason. Basically they added onto the schedule after the race calendar was set for the year and they were adding onto a date that another race was already using. In cases like this the promoter who is putting the second race on the same day needs to basically get the blessing of the promoter who already has a race on that date to be eligible for BAR/BAT points. Most of the time there are either no issues or the two promoters can work something out. IN this case that didn't happen.
