It looks like experienced junior boys will only be allowed to race in the first race--"Cat 4/5 with five or more races." The Juniors race says "Age 14-18 with less than 5 races."
Anyone know if this is true? My son is Cat 4, racing age 13. He had fun at the Early Birds last year, but I don't think I'll be able to get him up early enough on a cold morning to get warmed up for an 8:30 race that may or may not have any other juniors.
Just wondering.

Early Bird Juniors Race

Since we were unable to secure a reasonable alternative course for the juniors to use there will be no separate junior race for younger juniors. This means that juniors who are strong enough and have enough basic skills to ride in the appropriate adult groups can do so ( just like with any other race). Any junior is welcome to do the mentoring portions of the Early Birds but riders who can't keep up with the adult groups at all unfortunately don't have a race they can take part in after the mentoring.
