Cyclist killed.....

Just saw this on the Alto Velo e-mail list - anybody have any info on the accident?
Hi everyone,
Ron just came back from riding in the Altamont/Natoma/Black Mountain
vicinity of Los Altos Hills. There was a big police/news presence
there because supposedly a cyclist was hit by a fallen tree. Watch
your Channel 2 news tonight. Anyone heard anything? I went out this
morning, foolishly, and am glad I escaped with my life. It was
dangerous.

I had the chance to ride with Dan in many masters races the last few years.
He was a great guy and will be missed by more than just his family and team.

The cyclist killed by a falling tree in Los Altos Hills this morning was Dan Plummer of Team Spine.
