CHERRY PIE - THE BLOSSOM OF SPRING - RETURNS AGAIN!!
Remember that amazing feeling last February when, after a week of keeping your fingers crossed and white-knuckled, the skies opened up to the sun for 12 glorious hours of spring crit racing? (After the Apple Pie and Martinez races had been soaked).
Remember the three-man break of Gus Artacho and David Vitorio and a guy named Wohlberg, while the BMC and Colavita/SH pro squads controlled the field, including Fast Freddy and all the other glitterati?
Remember how the clockwork synchopation of Tina Pic and her Colavita/SH teammates was "oranged" on the final hill by Brooke Miller, who won back-to-back with Martinez?
And a guy named LaBerge, winning AGAIN for his home crowd?
CHERRY PIE IS BACK FOR THE 33RD TIME!
Registration is open:

What direction are they running the race?
The 2007 direction (counter clock-wise) was terrible.
Go back to the classic direction!
Thanks, Lorri.
I fixed the 35+ problem. Sorry about that tense moment of gender ambivalence, Chris.
We also got approval from Casey this morning to increase the size of the juniors 15-16,17-18 field, so we shouldn't have the sell-out problem of last year.
I think that solves all the issues from last year, no?
We do apologize to the 35+ 4/5's. We acknowledge that they are the largest population of racers, but tore our hair out on this and  decided to remedy my ridiculous gaffe of last year's combined womens' field, as well as to honor our continuing commitment and honor to be the opening race of the junior points series.
Instead, we opened the 35+ race to the bravest and fittest of the master 4's. (We are hopeful it will still count for 35+ 1/2/3 BAR).
Damn, it's hard to be the shortest-day race of the entire season.
But also the prettiest? You judge:
Ah, Napa.
all joking aside, thanks to Jess and Eagle Cycling Club for including a Women's 4 race this year!!! CAT 4 women, let's show them some love and get out there and race.

I see that I've already been moved into the 35+ 1-4 and that the 35+ 1-3 is gone. No surgery necessary!

I just realized that (and also found out that the second event is $10).
I signed up for 35+ 1/2/3, race at 12:20 but if that race should be W4/W35+ then I'll need to be moved to the 35+ 1-4.

35+ Cat 1-4 and a 35+ Cat 1-3? Is that correct?
Is there a multi race discount? :D
I think this link will work better:
