Hey now,

Update on field sizes for our event this Sunday March 9th:

This field is just about full:
Elite 4/5

We have plenty of room for day-of registration in these categories:
Master 45+ 4/5
Masters 55+ 4/5
Masters 60+ 4/5
Junior 13/14
Junior 15/16
Junior 17/18
Masters 35+ 1/2/3
Elite 2
Elite 3
Pro/1
Pro/1/2 Women

Remember, CVC is part of the 99-Series. We award a jersey to the current points leader in each category, and will award 100% cash after next week’s events in Visalia.

We will also have:

• Daylight Saving time change (arranged just for you)
• World-class race announcer in Dave Towle (he is going to Beijing on behalf of the UCI this year!)
• Great weather (low 70s and sunny)
• Good food and locally brewed beer (located around the race course)
• Fun and challenging race course (left AND right turns!)
• 50% off your second race of the day
• Healthy living Faire (in conjunction with Tree Fresno)
• “Run thru the Trees”, Kid’s run, 6.1 mile run, and 2-mile run/walk ( http://www.treefresno.org/events.html )
• Kids race at Noon
• Climbing wall, faire activities, etc, other stuff for the kids

Fresno is easy to get to, and probably not as far away as you think. Thanks for supporting us!

Central Valley Classic - Update

I agree Todd. Back to back long distances to drive
makes going to all these events tough. Fuel, early
starts, maybe a hotel room etc. Bay area, and Sacto
valley always seems to pull the largest fields.

Central Valley Classic - Update

I'm looking forward to the race. I hope a lot show up. I wonder if all the central valley races together on the calendar work against some of the races. I'm happy there are so many races on the calendar, but for many of us racing from snelling to visalia is too many long trips to the central valley in a row. I know it is our choice, but I'd hate to see an a organizers efforts and sponsors discouraged because of low turn out.
