World Team member, Olympian, National titlist, Rheumatologist - a spectacular athlete who is one of the headliners for the Carrera de San Rafael - Christine Thorburn has signed onto the start roster for the end-of-criterium season for 2006. With $1,250 in cash this will be one of the biggest paydays for the Pro-1/2 Women's fields in the 2nd half of the 2006 Northern California calendar.

Masters 35+ Cat 4/5 entries have reached 42, leaving only 33 spots remaining to fill the field.
