After an hour break to allow over 600 kids to ride the streets of Burlingame we are about to get racing underway again. The filed is full with 100 Masters 35+ 1/2/3 riders on the start line. AMD has a large team on the line along with Webcor, CVC and Safeway.
Top 10 o fthe master 35+ Cat 4s. A large crash right past the finishline on the start of the bell lap thinned the field considerably. Only one rider needed ambulance transport for a minor injury.

Prime #3 has just been rung ( 6 primes in a 40 minute race) A group of 4 including McKinley and Ash had a small gap going into the prime lap.
Dirk Copeland bridged up to the front group and won the sprint for the 3rd prime
After Kevin Metcalf got caught AMD sends Scott McKinley off the front as we go into our next prime lap.
AJM has just showed up to preform his Grand Marshall duties which will include starting the 1/2/Pro event.
John Ash takes the 2nd prime. Ash and Mckinley have a small gap off the front of the field.
In the masters 1/2/3 race Pabol Serna Cal Giant takes the first prime with the fast lap of the race so far at 1:35
