Just wanted to give a shout out to the folks at Fremont Free Wheelers and Cyclepath for a really well run Team Time Trial this past Saturday the 4th!

The event was timely, great marshalling and signage!

We really need to have events/team time trials in the bay area and i m so glad the recognized this and stepped up with such a great course.

Very technical (windy and topicgraphically challenging) but super smooth and fun. They had great event notification signs and also signs along the way indicating how far youd gone and how far you had left :)

WE ll be back next year!

One area of feedback would be for the bathrooms. With only two porta-potties the lines were pretty long. I had to wait nearly 25 minutes in line which significantly cut into my warmup.

Noted - thanks!

+1 on everything Jonathan said...

I really liked the course and how smooth the event was run. I think it would be a great course to also do a solo TT event; it would be fun to compare team versus individual times over the same course.

You could also make it longer by starting on Greenville Road down where the registration is for the Wente RR. Doing that and keeping the finish in the same location would be pretty fun.

One area of feedback would be for the bathrooms. With only two porta-potties the lines were pretty long. I had to wait nearly 25 minutes in line which significantly cut into my warmup.

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the kind words - they make it all worthwhile. The results are now available here: http://ffbc.org/RaceTeam/Races/index.html.

FFRT photographer Ed Falsken was taking pictures - his gallery is here: http://edwardfalsken.smugmug.com/Cycling/754000
