In one month we will be happy to see you at East Bay Cyclists' 5th Annual Criterium. We are currently named for our fabulous sponsor InfoVista (big time network security). You may know our team and race history by names such as EMC2, Documentum, Vellum, Kenda, etc. The race is on the same fast & fun course repaved in 2007. As in past years, we have isted the minimum prize list on the flyer but we always seem to gather up some additional prize/prime money and merchandise before race time. We will announce updates here.

2nd race is only $10 - and WE pay the on-line processing fee for ALL races! JUNIORS - race your category for ONLY $10 (race day refund when you get your race #).

Registration is now open and filling:

Panda pre-reg

Just saw you on the list Elis - did not mean to ignore your valued pre-reg efforts! BTW, Skittle sorting is Ron's job...

So, who thinks they can take Elis in a sprint?

Um...you have at least one pre-registered entrant for the W1/2/3. And I am really, really looking forward to those hand-sorted skittles.

reg updates

Greetings racers - here's an update on the May 10 InfoVista crit presented by us East Bay Cyclists. Pre-reg will be closing late evening on Weds May 7. Still slots left in those usually fast-to-fill e4 & 35+4 categories and some categories are WIDE OPEN!

While we are happy to take your extra money for day-of-race reg, we'd rather have your release form(s) and number(s) ready to go on race day to keep the registration lines flowing. Pre-reg keeps the overall experience enjoyable for both racers and race staff.

PRIZE $$ UPDATE: Note that 3 races are all cash prizes and a percentage of entry fees paid for that event - more entries, more prize money. (Primes are separate and may include merchandise.) So far, no women in Pro/1/2/3, so if you are the one to show up, you'll win a big chunk of the minimum $200 we listed for prizes... of course, we all know more will show up race day. Hopefully enough to make those fields fun and prize amounts large!

See you at the races (Cat's Hill, gulp, first!)
