Junior Nat's is not at Hellyer in 2008 but there are beginnings of discussions about hosting the event in 2009 or 2010.
USAC would like to have junior track nat's AND junior road nat's at the same locale in one time period (10+ days total), but that is a huge task.
After masters next next year there would be enough local experience to host the juniors track portion okay, but people will need to step up who can handle the juniors road portion.
Bottom line, if NorCal were to bid on hosting juniors road and track in one block of time there is a very good chance it would be awarded to NorCal.
Yeers ago when the racing population was a fifth of what it is now, there was one Natz for Junior, Elite (Senior), and Masters (Veterans). The road events were all held the same week at the same venue, and the track events were held nearby. Each region was to get a turn at hosting them.
There are too many riders to justify that method today. My guess is a Midwest velodrome will host Junior Track Nationals.
It would be cool if they were local... could Hellyer handle two nationals in one year?

As far as I know the Junior Track Natz will not be a T town but no official word on where.
is junior track in t-town?

Actually the rule against entering more than one team spritn or pursuit is suppose to apply to all championship both national and state.
That is great news!! Remember, only those cat 1, 2, or 3 may compete in the men's 30- 54 points races. I suspect full fields in each of the five year categories. And, unlike state championships, each rider may only enter only one team sprint or pursuit.
Yet more important is for us to step up and assist in any way we can to showcase the bay area and our newly rejuvenated velodrome. Volunteer!
