Just a reminder that starting tomorrow, Nov 1st, you can renew your racing license for 2007 or buy a new license that will be good from now till the end of 2007. Since the USAC office tends to get swamped in Jan, Feb, March and April it is a good idea to renew your license early, especially if you want to do some of the early season classics.

I strongly suggest that people buy or renew their license online at the USAC web site < http://www.usacycling.org/> If you buy or renew your license at a early season race you could be waiting several months before you actually get your license. By buying online you tend to get your new license within a week.

Also if you buy your license online, or at least have an account at the USAC web site, you can now change your club and or team information yourself. This doesn't change the Info that is printed on your license but it does update the USCF database so those promoters who use the database Info for registration will have your correct club/team Info.

If you buy online and you lose your license (like I did 2 years ago) you can print an authorization to ride and still be able to race. Luckily I lost it at the end of the season and my races all were within 30 days.

Renewing online also means you can print out an "authorization to race" immediately-which suffices until the actual license arrives.
