dictrict championships will have to change again, the schedule is TBD. it will basically be 2 12 hour days SAT/SUN.
Masters and Senior District Track Championships will be held the third weekend in Septemeber 2006. We had an unfortunate situation occur a few weeks ago and are behind in getting race permit applications.
There is no word yet of weather or not there is going to be National Championship qualifiers with districts; the USAC has changed the procedures for qualifying and we haven't gotten the exact procedures yet.
more information will be up on our website. http://hillsidegraphics.com/grassrootscycling/

I asked and Eric said seniors and masters together on Sept 16-17.
The web page http://www.ridethetrack.com lists several Friday evenings in September for the District Championships. I didn't see any mention of Masters Districts. Will they be held 9-16 and 9-17(Sat/Sun) or will they be omitted this year?
Just a quick note. None of this affects Junior Track Districts which will be on June 17th.
IIRC Mike Hardaway is going to be our rep to speak to Casey and Eric Petersen will probably be the promoter.
what did the NCVA board decide to do at their meeting?
socal doesn't have elite and masters districts together. they are seperate and at different tracks this year.
Do we assume district masters and elite track championships always occur together - is that for practical reasons?
How big is the importance of the timing of districts to serve as a tuneup for masters who are good enough to go to nationals and place? My assumption here is that elite nationals on the track will be later if USA Cycling shifts nationals for elites as elites supposedly should be racing track in the winter which is somewhat impractical given an outdoor velodrome. Since districts no longer serve as a qualifiers for nationals should we try to recruit folks who probably have less interest in the timing vis a vis nationals?
