Results get posted as soon as they are accepted by the USAC system. Since I know the ins and outs of posting results to the USAC system better than anyone else locally I tend to tend to end up posting the majority of local results that get sent into USAC. I ask promoters to send me the results so I can check the format and make sure things are correct so the results will count for rankings etc.

When he gets back from vacation it would probably get more action if you ask Robert yourself about the Madera results and uploading to USAC.

I'll point out again that the vast majority of results from around the country don;t get posted to USAC. I just got an upgrade request from a rider with most of his races from out of our area and none of his our of area results had been posted to USAC even though he has done some bigger races.

OK, so I'll try again

Casey, is there any way you can find out why the Madera Stage Race is not posted to the USA Cycling website? See if VP has already sent in the results? :? See you tomorrow evening.

Part of the reason why results are up to USAC is the use of RaceDay software that SBO gives to each Event Director to use. Later this year we will have a RaceDay StageRace Version as well.

As a side note Ken Hernandez has been hired by a lot of the Events to help manage registeration and results. This has allowed for faster turn around to USAC as well. Ken knows RaceDay and the SBO System of release forms and bibs at reg. If you are promoting an event and would like to have Ken there shoot us a email or call and we will get it lined up for you The SBO Support Team

New website comimng late this year

If you do stage race results correctly ( when sending them into USAC) it is more complicated than for a one day race. For a stage race when sending the results to USAC you really should include the results for the individual stages. For Madera this basically means sending in 4 sets of results, one set of results for each stage and then the overall results. I think they used a different program to do results for Madera than for the one day races which adds another layer of complication in sending the results to USAC since the results have to be taken from the format they are in and put into the format that USAC accepts. For the one day races Velo Promo uses the Sportsbase race day program which makes it pretty easy to get results into the format which USAC needs.

CBC, are you referring to the lack of Madera results at the USAC website? It's up to the promoter to send results to USAC for posting. Kinda baffling why Madera results are missing while VP has been really quick to send others (e.g. Leesville).
