Directions:
To Negro Bar: Take Hwy 50 East from Sacramento to the Folsom Blvd. exit. Go
 north. Cross the American River, turn left at the traffic light on
 Greenback Lane. Turn left into the park entrance at Negro Bar. County Parks
 parking has a $5. fee. Free parking can be found by going straight at the
 Greenback light onto Folsom-Auburn,  and turning left into the shopping
 center parking lot. It's a short ride to the course on the American River
 bike trail.

To Western Gateway Park: TakeHwy. 80 to Auburn. Take Hwy 49 to Grass Valley.
 Take Hwy 20 5 miles west to Penn Valley. (Alt. route: Hwy 99 to 70 to
 Marysville, east on Hwy 20) Turn south at Penn Valley Dr. Penn Valley Dr.
 turns to right. The park is on the right. Parking is in the back lot by the
 bathrooms.

To Folsom City Park: Take Hwy 50 East from Sacramento to the Folsom Blvd.
 exit. Go north.  Turn right on Natoma St. Turn left on Stafford St. into  the park.

To Granite Bay: From Hwy 50, take Folsom Blvd exit north and cross the American River.
 Folsom Blvd becomes Auburn-Folsom Road. Follow Auburn Folsom Road to Douglas
 Blvd (about 4 miles), turn right (East) and proceed to Granite Bay Park.
 Follow signs to event parking.

Race Format:   Registration opens at 8:30 am.
 There will be a 30 minute C race at 10 am
 a 45 minute B race at 10:45 am (composed of B Men, Women and Junior Men)
 and a 1 hour A race at 11:45 am (A Men and Master 35+ Men).

Prizes and Awards:
 Series prizes will be awarded in each category. A's must do 3 races to qualify for series points; Bs must do 4 races.
 Daily prizes may also be awarded at some events.

District BAR Categories:  Separate from the SacCX points series, Junior Men, Master 35+ Men,Women and A Men will be picked separately for district BAR points. These categories race concurrently with the A and B events as listed in start times above.  To be picked for district points you must race in the appropriate event (i.e. Master Men racing in the Bs will not receive BAR Master points; Juniors racing in the Cs will not receive Junior points, etc).   Make sure you identify yourself appropriately to registration staff.

Courses:
 Pavement, dirt, running, singletrack, barricades, stairs, and mud if it rains. Bathrooms and water at the courses.

Equipment:
 Mountain or cross bikes OK. Approved helmets required. No forward facing bar ends.

Entry Fee:
 $15, includes insurance surcharge. Enter on race day. Juniors need a signed
 release from parent or guardian (see NCNCA News or get release on race  day).

 Held under NCNCA insurance. NCNCA license required. One day licenses
 available at race.
